When trying to explain to students, adults new to the Internet, or veteran users, sometimes it can be quite helpful to show an example of misinformation on the Internet. Feel free to use this link for training purposes.

Anyone can post anything on the web--an example

This webpage, created by me, has been on the Internet since February 26, 2005. With the exception of a clarification (changing the text "the alphabet" to "the English alphabet") requested by fellow librarian Ben Ostrowsky, there have been no requests to correct the misinformation nor to remove the site from the Internet.
